The music video for the new song "Aika (Elegy)," released on January 17th, has Ken Hirai nude in a singing scene. "Aika (Elegy)" will be the theme song used in the movie "Ai no Ryuukeichi" (Penal colony of love), being shown to the public on Jan. 13, 2007. The preview for it was shown on air on Japan's CM network on Jan. 5. Starring in the Toho-produced movie "Ai no Ryuukeichi" are Etsuji Toyokawa and Shinobu Terajima with Kyoko Hasegawa, Takanori Jinnai, Tooru Nakamura, Kouichi Satou, and Kuranosuke Sasaki.

Seiji Kameda has been invited to produce "Aika," which includes another version of Hirai's hit 2005 single "Pop Star." Hirai said that his song will be his first written for a woman's point of view. "Disgracing me, it's not just dishonoring me, but I think there's absolutely a part that is purified through having been disgraced," Hirai remarked. "If there's a surface and an underside in pure love, this song is the underside."
